Three Toed Sloth- While I am aware of how requested Sloths are, I cannot actually fathom why. (Personally I love a bit of reskin variety.)Īsian Water Monitor- Kind of happy with this too, we have enough Crocodillians in the game and with the only other habitat reptiles being the Komodo Dragon and the Nile Monitor, the latter of which I don't think actually looks very good anymore. It's a total reskin pick, but as we only have the Siamang, it's not an awful reskin choice. Lar Gibbon- I'll be honest.I haven't even used the Siamangs yet.

Warthogs are boring and ugly, while the RRH is so much more exciting and not ugly at all. Red River Hog- I wasn't expecting to like this one as much as I do, but honestly I am pretty happy with this one.

(Edit- Okay it's not a cat, but it's still very catlike, so I stand by comparing it to felines.) Not really sure how different it is to other felines we have in the game, so I kind of want to reserve judgement for now. Not totally sure what to make of this pack yet.įossa- It's alright I guess. So tl dr I am not against slowly incorporating some birds (or even fish) into PZ, but I don't see a bird DLC ever happening, nor do I find it to be a good idea in any sense, other than pleasing the vocal minority here. Even if they worked their bottoms off to give birds insane AI thus making them more exciting additions than just a couple of repeating strings, it would still not have as big of an impact than random feline # 33 or even another cute piggy like the one we are getting right now. I don't know where exactly is the line in terms of how many birds Frontier may include in a DLC in place of regular habitat animals and still get good sales, but I would be surprised if we would ever get more than one. A purely bird pack would sell quite badly and thus doesn't make much sense. Sure, each their own, but there is a reason why basically every single zoo is being advertised with lions, elephants or apes.

They are also among the least exciting animals one can find in zoos.
